Linda's journey with "Deborah Company" so far....

My "Deborah Company" journey started when I met Lucy Riethmiller when she came to Australia several years ago. I had no idea at that time that she would have such an impact on my life. Lucy is a counsellor, a mighty woman of God, and her heart of compassion and deep love for The Lord attracted me to her, and I thought "I want to know God like you do Lucy, and I would love to get to know you as a friend too!" The Love of God oozed out of her, and her heart was so full of love and Grace that I wanted to get to know her more.
We started to correspond regularly, and became good friends, and in the year 2004 I was invited to attend a Deborah Company meeting (by Lucy) in Utah USA. I was overawed by the calibre and experience of the women who attended the conference, and I felt very inadequate in all ways, (not to mention severely jet lagged!), but most honoured to have been invited. I knew then that God was "up to something" but until recently (2007) I had a battle believing that I even belonged with such a company of amazing women. The Lord has been very gracious to me in the midst of my insecurities and mindsets, and He has led me very gently (as He does) to this point where I know in my heart that I belong with Deborah Company, although I don't know the bigger plan that God has yet!
This song was the result of me praying for Deb Co Minnesota at the end of last year. The Lord actually gave me the song on Christmas Eve, and I called Lucy on Christmas Day, I was so excited!
Every song has a story, so please permit me to share this one with you. I'll try to be brief! As I said before, The Lord gave me the song at Christmas, and I sent Lucy the words to have a look at. I deleted the file with the words on it as it was only on an email, (I am very tidy you see), and thought nothing more of it until Lucy asked if I could record the song for her....I was panic stricken, I could not find the original words and I had to repent and ask The Lord to please give me the words again! I had to apologise to Him for throwing the song in the bin.. literally!
To cut a long story short, I finished up with 3 versions of the song... the original, another one, and then The Lord gave me the third song the day after I had sent the recording to Lucy.

These songs are for all the Deborah's around the world... it truly is time to Awake! Rise up! and Ride!

Hi all,

Here we are, on the road again. We had a wonderful day at a home church ministering to the precious "hungry" people who love the Lord Jesus with a zeal and passion that is a joy to see.
We watched The Lord restore a young man who had a severe back problem, he had been in hospital till 2.30am in severe pain. His wife drove him to the meeting, where The Lord restored him. He was leaping up and down, praising God... only someone who has experienced this knows the full impact. If the smile on his face was anything to go by, and the gratefulness he was expressing to God, then it was worth the visit just for that one person.

The Lord also touched many people in the group, one man had his lungs "expanded" and he could breathe again, so he too was very very happy! One lady had a major touch from The Lord in the area of trauma and shock, she was delivered from those things... How good it is to see freedom in people's lives! Many others were touched too... The Lord is very gracious to us! Thank you Jesus!

The Lord seemed to be honing in on the spirit of unbelief, which He was breaking off, after all how can we believe for miracles if there is any unbelief in us?

The Word was about being "called by the Father," for His purpose for this time, to reach out and touch lives for Jesus, pre-destined, pre-ordained before the start of time, to bring revival to this land.

It is also important to know that The Father has called us, and that we need to be doing the will of the Father so that we may enter the Kingdom of God.

What does God require of us?

To Love the Lord with all our hearts, And to love our neighbours as we love ourselves

Husbands, love your wife as Christ Loves the Church, and wives, respect your husband.

Children (and us too, honour our parents… first commandment with promise.)

God also requires us to be accountable, to become like Him in Character, deed, thought and action….. We will never be God, but He wants us to go on a journey to be able to walk in the Fruit of the Spirit….which reflects the nature and character of God.

The Lord wants us to Walk Worthy of our calling….(Ephesians 4;1-6)

The Father is in us according to

Ephesians 4;6 One God and father of all who is above all,

and through all and in you all……

Be an Ambassador for Jesus….

Like Esther, He wants the women to know that they are living in the Palace with the King, and for the men He wants the men to know that they can be like a Boaz to their families, to their workplace, Boaz was the Kinsman redeemer, Jesus is still Kinsmen redeemer, and we too can be like Boaz as we walk out the plan of God for our lives..... honouring others and obeying God, laying down our lives for others.

God’s plan is always to bring life, and life more abundantly……

Revival…. Means to Live again
There are areas in our lives where we need to live again, and God wants to bring His life into these areas, sometimes it involves relationships… husbands/ wives/ family/ children/ co workers….. but whatever it is the Lord wants to refresh and refire and restore and redeem, and He wants to have Relationship with us on a deeper more intimate level……

How do we become the hands and feet of Jesus? How do we become like the Father.
1 Spend time with Him
2 Get to know Him ~ His Nature, The Word.
3 Listen to His voice
4 Hang around with other people who are fathers in the Lord
5 Ask the Father that we might see and know His Heart
6 Ask for His plan.
7 Obey
8 Don’t just be a hearer of the word, be a doer.
9 Find a spiritual mother/father, everyone needs a mentor.

If any man is thirsty, give him a drink, if any man is lonely, have a chat with him, if any person is needy, don’t procrastinate, help! If there is a family/person in need…. Reach out and be the hands and feet of Jesus to them… be practical, not just spiritual. Religious people love to say “well, bless you brother God is good, Praise the Lord !” and they go off on their merry way… when what you really need is someone to sit down with you and listen to your heart! Christianity is about relationship, not religion, it is about a heart filled with God’s love, not religion filled with cold love, rules and regulations….

Miracles happen in His Presence

Hi all,

Well, here we are again with testimony of the Grace and Goodness of our Heavenly Father. Bill and I ministered at a healing meeting in Como on 8th November. It was the first time we had ministered like that together for a long time... so it was very interesting. The Lord had already shown Bill the strategy for ministering to the people, and he said that The Lord was like The Master Potter who was coming to reshape and remould us. He also had a vision during Praise and Worship of Jesus being surrounded by a group of pre school children sitting at His feet.

The whole point of my message was that Jesus wanted us to be like a Mary and not a Martha,(Luke 10:38-42) and to come and sit at His feet. Psalm 121 as well was a big thing, we have to receive all our help from The Lord, so that means looking up, and not focusing on our circumstances. ~ The vision that Bill had tied in well with what The Lord had already given me... He does confirm His Word! (Praise God!)

The Lord was also telling us that we had become disappointed when we don't get healed when we think it should happen, so we harden our hearts and a bit of unbelief gets in, so we had to say "sorry" to the Lord and trust Him that His timing is perfect. We have to start believing and trusting Him again! The Lord also mentioned the fruit of the Spirit of long suffering, which none of us likes as we like "instant" everything!

Matthew 6:6 The Lord's prayer verse 8says ...."The Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him." That was what The Lord was saying to us quite strongly.

All the Lord asked us to do was to come and sit in His Presence, stop talking about doing it, and actually take time in the meeting to do that..... so we did, and many, many people were touched by the Lord as I (Linda) ministered in song. One lady who had a perforated eardrum, from when she was a little girl, had her ear opened during a song, and she was so delighted, everything is now very loud to her! It "just happened" to be her birthday as well... God's timing is absolutely perfect. There were many people delivered as pastor Phil's ministry team walked among the crowd praying for the people. Bill also had words of encouragement for people. It was an awesome day... God's Grace is amazing. He really loves us! ~ Thank You Jesus for being Faithful, and for watching over Your Word to perform it!

It is such an awesome honour to minister to God's people, nothing can compare to seeing lives changed and God Glorified. All we need to do is look to Jesus the author and finisher of our Faith.

The Lord remembers!

Hi again,

How beautiful it is to think that there is a book of remembrance which we have stored in the heavenlies. I have just been to a ladies group to minister to them, and that was one of the things that The Lord impressed upon me very strongly. There are conditions to that book being written though. It is found in Malachi 3:16,17 ….. those who feared the Lord talked often to one another; and the Lord LISTENED AND HEARD IT AND A BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE WAS WRITTEN BEFORE HIM OF THOSE WHO REVERENCED AND WORSHIPFULLY FEARED THE LORD AND WHO THOUGHT ON HIS NAME.
17 AND THEY SHALL BE MINE SAYS THE LORD OF HOSTS IN THAT DAY WHEN I PUBLICLY RECOGNISE AND OPENLY DECLARE THEM TO BE MY JEWELS (MY SPECIAL POSSESSION, MY PECULIAR TREASURE) AND I WILL SPARE THEM, AS A MAN SPARES HIS OWN SON WHO SERVES HIM.

I want to have storehouses filled with books of my thoughts toward the Lord…….. Wouldn’t it be sad to find one little page there, and the words written……. ‘Only thought of the Lord occasionally, particularly when she was in need.” I want to have storehouses filled with reams of paper and thoughts that were turned to God….. Forever beholding Him and His beauty and His majesty, forever extolling His endless Love and Who He is just because He is God….. I want my life to be a love story to the Lord. Let's purpose in our hearts to first reverence the Lord, worship Him, and have the right kind of Godly fear that "is the beginning of wisdom." Let's turn our eyes and hearts afresh to the Lord, and think about Him often, talk about Him often and wait with great anticipation to see how many times we actually thought of the Lord.... but of course we will not know that until we get to heaven!

I also ministered in song to the women who soaked in the Lord's Love and His Presence.... who knows the Lord's ways? His ways are much higher than ours.. He changes us from Glory to Glory as we sit in His presence. His work is not always displayed openly, sometimes there is a much deeper inner work that He is doing "by His Spirit," and it is only in time to come that we see and know the effect of that work.

One lady sent me an email yesterday, and said she was was still enjoying the presence of the Lord from the day before, so that is precious, others said that they went to "another place" with God, and did not want to come back to reality here. The Lord touched another lady in a mighty way, and I am sure she will never be the same again. To God be the Glory as He moulds us and makes us the way that we should be.

May God bless you abundantly, and let's remember to think of the Lord often..and worship Him, after all The Lord has a book of remebrance in heaven with our thoughts written when we think of Him, and talk about Him..... I'll leave you with that awesome thought!

"On the Road again!"

Hi again, time for another update!

I have just had the awesome privilege of ministering in a small country town North of Perth. The people were beautiful, the Presence of God was very rich, and the Grace of God was abundant! Living in the city we take so many things for granted, but in the country people travel miles to get to their local fellowship on a Sunday morning. It is such a treasure to meet people who Love the Lord Jesus Christ, and who have faithfully served their community without "apparent" signs of much impact or growth. I have such respect for the men and women of God who toil and serve and pour out the Love and Grace of God for years, and still have the same passion and dedication evident in their lives.

Part of the Word The Lord gave me was about there being Provision for the vision......

Habakkuk 1;5 Look around you Habakkuk (replied the Lord) among the nations and see! And be astonished! Astounded! For I am putting into effect a work in your days (Such) that you would not believe it if it were told you (Acts 13:40,41)
Habakkuk 2:2 And The Lord answered me and said Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes by may be able to read it easily and quickly as he hastens by.For the *vision* is yet for an *appointed* time and it hastens to the end (fulfilment) IT WILL NOT DECEIVE NOR DISAPPOINT. THOUGH IT TARRY WAIT (ERNESTLY) FOR IT BECAUSE IT WILL SURELY COME; IT WILL NOT BE BEHINDHAND ON ITS APPOINTED DAY

God said that He is PRO - (for) the VISION (God ordained, inspired vision for His will to be done). His vision will not deceive, nor disappoint. We need to hold on to the glorious hope of the appointed time being fulfilled so that the vision may come to pass.

Then The Lord gave me another scripture which refers to having confidence ....

Heb 10;35-36 Do not therefore fling away our fearless confidence for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward. 36 For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God and thus receive and carry away (and enjoy to the full) what is promised.

I guess the message in all of this is hang on tight to the Vision God has given you, and be patient and endure so that you may do the will of the Father, which, in turn leads to great enjoyment and fulfillment of what God has ordained! The joy that is set before us is to run the race to the best of our ability.... for the Glory of God.

I really loved being " on the road again!' It is an honour and privilege to serve the Lord and to deliver The Word and Song of the Lord in due season.

Hi,

It is a few months since I added anything to our "Blog." Times flies when you are having fun.

Just a note to let you know we have another blog called Rockingham Lighthouse, which relates to our home church in Rockingham. We have had a lovely trip back to the UK... and are now back home, ready to "go" again, wherever The Lord takes us! I believe it is time to "get serious" with The Lord!

Personified Love

The desire of every believer is to be Christlike...

This is a song that The Lord gave me one night while I was speaking to my husband on the telephone. I had been worshiping and praising God, and was enjoying the Presence and the communion I was having with God when the phone rang. It was my husband, and as I was speaking to him, the words and the melody came flooding into my spirit, a Heavenly download! I have learnt that when that happens I need to write it down, or it goes! I had to tell my husband that God was speaking to me, and I had to go! The following words were the result of that evening. It is a prayer and a longing of my heart, and I believe the heart of every true believer to cry to the Lord to be Christlike, to find Him, to pursue Him until He is caught, to look for Him till He is seen, to search for Him 'till He is found by you and in you. The Word says, God is Love.... and we are meant to be a reflection of the Lord on earth, sharing His love, walking in His Power and authority, and being like Him.

It is a transformation process, a long journey, as we are changed and transformed into His image, from glory to glory, for His glory. As the deer pants for the water so my soul longs for You, oh Lord! Is that the cry of your heart today? To be more Christlike? ~ That is my cry today.... I long to sing a song that will please the King of Kings, I could sing my own song, but I want to sing a song that will please His heart. Let us dedicate our lips and words today to speak and sing songs and pray prayers that will please His heart, and achieve His purpose and plan on the earth through our lives. Let the words of this song become our prayer this day, that we would truly be Personified Love... filled with the passion and love of the Lord Jesus Christ, always seeking to please the Father, only doing what we see and hear the Father doing... bringing glory to the Name of The Lord.

Dearest Jesus, I love you so much, words cannot express what You have done for me by dying on the cross. Thank You for saving me, and for believing in me, I thank You that you would trust me to be a carrier of Your glory, to see Your Kingdom come on the earth. Lord my prayer to You today is that I may be Personified Love... for Your Glory.. I dedicate myself to you again today Lord, and ask You to set me apart afresh for You Lord, wash me, and cleanse me, forgive me of anything that I have done or said that is not pleasing to You, let my words be filled with life, Lord, Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and this day, Lord I choose life! Help me, Lord be more like You in all I do, think and say, ignite a fresh passion and fire in my heart to pursue You with all that is within me, I ask this, In Jesus precious name.... Amen!

Rivers in the Desert....

Isaiah 43:18 Do not (earnestly) remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. 19 Behold I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. 20 The beasts of the field honour Me, the jackals and the ostriches, because I give waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, My chosen. 21 The people I formed for Myself that they may set forth My praise ( and they shall do it.) (Amplified Bible)
Don't you love it when the Lord lets you see something Heavenly in a beautiful vision that your mind can comprehend and really appreciate? I love the way that The Lord speaks to us, it is so beautiful, and so necessary so we know what He is doing, and it keeps us "on track."

The Lord Jesus Christ loves the Body of Christ, and as Psalm 133 says where there is unity the Lord commands a blessing, life forevermore. This vision was given to Bill on Tuesday night 23rd May.... it really is encouraging! Be encouraged and blessed by this.

The Lord spoke through a lady in this meeting and she said we have to be "connected", to the Lord. The key word was "connected" (The Lord also spoke to me (Linda) at the beginning of the year and told me it is so important to have "Divine connections," for His Glory, we need to be in the right place at the right time with the right people , doing the right thing.)

In the vision there was a large field with wells in it. There were many wells in there. The wells were in a circle like a giant cartwheel, and the hub or focus of each one was on the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. The Hub represents Jesus. The Lord was digging a trench between each well to connect them up. The wells were dried up, empty and crusty on top, because they were so dry.

The Lord then took me to a desert in another vision and He showed me many oasis' in the desert. Between each oasis people travel a long way and there is no life in that place, only dryness and barrenness. It can be tiring when you are in that place, but you know you have to come to a place of reaching an oasis eventually. The Lord said " When I connect these oasis' together, I will bring life."

Then the Lord took me back to the first vision with the wells. The Lord said He is digging channels which will connect all the wells which represent the five fold ministry in the Body of Christ. These channels will join the five fold ministry so that they will flow as one body.

The dry crusty wells represent the present church structure, where each one is on its own... but when the Lord digs a channel between people/ ministries, then the five fold ministry will be in place, all connected, working together, and filled with Living Waters, so that the Life of the Lord Jesus Christ will flow through these channels bringing unity and the fullness of the Presence and Power of God into these people and ministries. Even though these wells are focused on the Lord at present, there is still a bit of dryness and crustiness, because the well is not "full". When the channel is dug, the living waters will be able to flow freely, and truly we will see "Rivers in the Desert."

Jesus is the source of the water which is flowing through these channels and ministries, the focus is not on man, title or position, the focus is on Jesus and obeying the Lord.

This is something to look forward to and work towards.... for the Glory of God!

Psalm 37:3

Psalm 37:3
Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land and feed on His faithfulness,4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.

How often do you have a "fleeting' thought, and then a few hours, days, months or years later the result of that "fleeting" thought comes to pass.

The Lord is faithful, and He will give you the desires of your heart if you delight in Him. I had that kind of experience today, I had a "fleeting' thought that I would like to see a friend who I had not seen for a long time, and in fact our relationship had been broken, which was sad in some respects,although I knew that God had allowed it. All I had said was a simple prayer which was just a passing "fleeting" thought regarding restoration of our relationship, and I had a desire in my heart to see my friend. Well, today, as I was going out for a walk, who just happened to be coming along the road but my old friend. We walked and talked together as we did in old times, and I thanked God that He had answered the desire of my heart, only two hours after I had that "fleeting" thought.

One thing I do pray and ask, is that I would develop a heart that is closely attuned to the heart of God, that I would hear His heartbeat, and speak His Word, that I would be alingned with His Holy Spirit, that my life and walk and the way I treat people would be a reflection of His heart.

Prayer:- Lord,I pray in the Name of Jesus that I would truly have a heart that would reflect Yours. Please teach me how to delight in You and trust in You. I thank you too Lord for all the times that you have answered me and given me the desires of my heart. I thank You Lord that You lead me and guide me, and every step I take is ordered by You, and everything I do and say will be for Your Glory. I thank You for Your Word and Your faithfulness... I love You Lord.. Thank you for this day, and your mercies which are new every morning. I also thank You Lord for the times that you have granted me the desires of my heart, although I may not have recognised it.
Lord I pray a blessing on every one who reads this.... Let them Hear the cry of Your heart, as You hear the cry of ours... Amen. ~ posted by Linda

Welcome to our new newsblog. it is a wonderful way of keeping people informed of what is happening and what The Lord is doing in our lives, and others' lives. We live in an exciting time, and this is the time to testify and share, and "taste and see that the Lord is good." We are in a season of restoration and reparation as The Lord is preparing His church to shine like never before.

We quite often have the awesome honour of seeing lives changed and touched for the Glory of God. This week alone we have seen at least two people miraculously touched by The Lord, one lady threw her walking stick away that she has been using for years! ~ Whom the Son sets free is free indeed!

Hopefully we will be able to have a blog that is filled with the testimony of the Grace, goodness and mercy of God!
